LEGAL AID ELECTRONIC SERVICES PORTAL
Legal Aid Department (“the Department”) operates the Legal Aid Electronic Services Portal (“the LAESP”), which provides an electronic option for the public and the legal practitioners to communicate with the Department. The LAESP enables prospective legal aid applicants to submit Pre-application Information Forms to the Department. It also facilitates communication between legal practitioners and the Department.
All electronic services provided to the public and legal practitioners by the Department are subject to the General Terms and Conditions. Some services may be subject to additional terms governing their provision. These additional terms will be made known to the users when the users express their intention to use those services.
All users (referred to as “you” below and in the General Terms and Conditions) must read the General Terms and Conditions carefully before making use of LAESP.
By using any service or accessing the LAESP, you shall be deemed to have accepted and be bound by all provisions of the General Terms and Conditions and any additional terms as mentioned above.
The expressions “we”, “our” or “us” appearing after this, unless the context requires otherwise, also refer to the Legal Aid Department.
